At Choose a Challenge, the UK's leading operator of fundraising challenges, we’re looking for a talented Partnerships Development Manager to join our growing team based in London.

The role is a mix of Business Development and Account Management. We’re looking for an experienced person with 5 + years sales experience. So people coming from a Business Development Manager background with some Account Manager experience would be a great fit.

About the role
In the role you will be involved in the management of partnerships internationally and across the UK which included Ireland and the USA currently, with scope for further international growth.

Key features of the role include:

* Hitting participant recruitment targets and maximising sign up numbers against pre-agreed targets

* Delivering effective and ongoing relationship management with all accounts at all times

* Completing tasks delegated from other responsibility leads

* Answering incoming inquiries over phone and email

* Repping events both in the UK and abroad to ensure their smooth running

* Manage time effectively, personally and on behalf of others

* Take ownership for workload and be proactive in your approach

* Identify personal strengths and areas for development

* Adapt to changes in the work environment

* Display professionalism at all time

Required skills

* Degree educated to at least Bachelor's level

* At least 5 years experience in a sales, marketing, account management and/or commercial partnerships role

* At least 2 years experience of managing commercial partnerships

* At least 2 years experience of managing sales/partnerships/account management staff

* Great people skills

* Knowledge of sales and marketing in a university student context or knowledge of sales and marketing in a third sector context

* A strategic mind, coupled with a willingness to roll up sleeves and get involved hands-on

* Comfortable with 'Tech' - you don't have to be a Tech Wizard but you must be able to demonstrate the use of commonly available software to develop efficient workflows

* Willingness to travel extensively domestically and internationally at key periods

* Demonstrable ability to solve complex problems in a work environment
