We are looking for two Support workers (1 x 22.5hr and 1 x 37.5hr) to join our Service based in Harlow.
The shift patterns for these roles will be:
Sleep in 22:00-07:(phone number removed)
You will be required to sleep in a minimum of once a week, starting at 14:30pm and finishing the following day at 15.00. You will need to be flexible and willing to work additional sleep ins to cover colleague’s annual leave.

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality.
IT literate – confident to record daily logs electronically using the latest systems
Confident to work autonomously – be able to lone work with confidence and communicate with colleagues effectively at handover.
