Do you happen to be in conflict with yourself as to whether or not you should be in a more senior position than you currently are? Either that or you are in limbo as to take on more or less responsibility? Why not get a feel for both these roles.
A busy council in Hertfordshire are looking at taking on two new licensing candidates. One of a managerial level, and the other at more of an officer enforcement level. Both candidates will be offered an initial 6 month contract, to come in and tackle the immense workload that has accumulated over the past year.
Expect high hourly rates off the back of this. Being a manager, leading by example on an operational basis, and being that go to person for all aspects of licensing, is something that requires real knowledge, experience and sense of understanding. By playing this part you will pocket £30 upwards hourly.
For the officer based role you will still be earning £20 an hour plus. The pro active team cover all matters at hand. Wherever the demand is you have permission to follow. Licensing Act, Gambling Act, Street Trading, COVID work, the list goes on.
Eager to make the most of these opportunities, please get in touch. I also welcome any suggestions that spring to mind.
