The role of the Facilities Manager will be to manage the day to day running of the building to ensure that it is safe, compliant and fully functioning at all times. This will involve managing a small in house team as well as third party contracts.
Our client is a charity based out of Warwickshire.
You will be directly responsible for the day to day running and maintenance of a grade II listed building which will include overseeing the delivery of both soft and hard services.
You will need to ensure that there is an effective maintenance strategy and a positive health & safety culture in place to ensure that the site is safe and functioning at all times for staff and visitors.
On a day to day basis you will have line management responsibility for a small team of coordinators and you will also be responsible for the contract management of third party contractors carrying out more complex and specialist work. You will need to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with contractual agreements whilst ensuring that value for money is being received.
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior Facilities Management experience ideally gained within a heritage or listed building site. It would be advantageous to have also previously worked within the charities or not for profit sector.
The role is based at a single site in Warwickshire so you will need to live within sensible commuting distance of Warwickshire.
A salary of £32,000 - £36,000 DOE is on offer
