Our client is currently recruiting an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at this restaurant in Walton Upon Thames, Surrey.

Located centrally, this restaurant can get busy with high volume passing trade. The focus of the food is authentic Italian cuisine using the finest ingredients and produce to create traditional and classic dishes.

As the Head Chef, you will be leading a team of 12 and ensuring that every plate meets and exceeds expectations. You will naturally have an eye for detail and presentation as well as creativity and flair. As service can get busy, you will have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritizing whilst remaining calm and level headed.

Working hours are 5/7 days, 45 hours per week. There are a mixture of day shifts, evening shifts and doubles.

Our ideal candidate would
-Be a Head Chef level or a strong Sous Chef looking for their first step up
-Have a strong progressive work history
-Ideally have worked within a fast paced, high volume restaurant
-Be able to produce good food using fresh ingredients
-Be a strong leader and inspiration to your team as well as work as a team player
-Have attention to detail and presentation
-Be willing and flexible with a positive can do attitude
