About The Part Time Sales Assistant Role

At AO we are passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience and this starts with you. You will be the face of AO to ensure a remarkable in-store experience for everyone that steps foot into our exciting new stores.

You will be a key component in ensuring our customers have the best possible journey by being welcoming, approachable and knowledgeable about the products we sell.

The hours for the role are 12 hours per week on a rota between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 8pm Saturday ,Sunday, store training hours.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing As Our Part Time Sales Assistant:

Store preparation and opening including price changes, float set up and product set up

End of day in our stores, tilling up, sending daily feedback and closing the store

Welcoming customers and delivering a world class experience

Supporting the customer with product and technical advice and selling sales & Insurance products

Ensuring the store is clean and tidy, the displays are visually pleasing, and stock is replenished. Actioning planogram changes and window display changes

Working with the delivery team to check off deliveries

Processing payments at till point

Selling products and services to our customers

Selling and informing customer of the ao care plan we offer

Overseeing the running of the store in the absents of the leadership team

A Few Things About You As Our Part Time Sales Assistant:

You’ll have a passion for customer service – ideally, you’re already experienced in Retail and have been a key holder but that isn’t the be all and end all!

You will be interested about electricals and eager to learn more – we will ensure that you get great training so you can help our customers as much as possible

Be exceptional in the moments that matter… Customers will always remember how you made them feel

You’ll bring a positive energy into the store each day to ensure we have the happiest customers.

You should be confident to deal with a range of queries and hold excellent communication skills

Represent and protect our culture and values demonstrating these throughout
