Tradewind nottingham are currently working in partnership with an Alternative Provision based in the centre of Nottingham. We are currently looking for a qualified english teacher to work on a full time basis covering a maternity post starting on November 1st 2021.

We are looking for engergetic, positive,vibrant enthusiastic teachers to spend the first term supporting 1:1 in the class and also supporting generally in the school getting to know the students and building positive relationships. From Christmas you will then take over the teaching responsibilties. (please note you will be paid a lower rate whilst working as teaching assistant, this will then increase to a teaching rate from January)

The provision is an outstanding, award winning provision based in the centre of Nottingham. The provision works with 90 young people predominantly in years 10 and 11 and they also deliver to years 7-9 but in smaller numbers.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Have experience of working with young people or young adults with SEN
Teaching Qualification QTS or equivalent
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
