Graduate Technical Support Specialist
£15 per hour + expenses
We have a brilliant opportunity for a recent Engineering graduate to join a global Medical Device business within their Diagnostics division. The business are a known employer of choice, with highly commended training programmes that will support you in the start of your professional career.
The position will be on an initial 12-month contract, during which you will undergo product training, work hands on with clients across West Sussex and work closely with senior members of the team to learn what is needed to succeed in this role. Within the role you will be responsible for providing level one and two support to the West Sussex customer base (Chichester & Worthing) – handling installations and deinstallations, repairs, instrument hardware or software upgrades and providing basic training to customers.
Customer facing skills are a must, you must be confident acting as the main point of contact for any customer queries. You should also be a keen problem solver, with an ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
All product training will be provided, but you must be a proactive learner to ensure you get to know the diagnostic products as needed so that you can act as the technical expert.
An Engineering degree is required, ideally within medical engineering – but all background will be considered. Preferably, you will have some hands-on work experience and a proven ability to work in a customer facing, engineering environment but graduates without experience can be considered too, providing you show a confidence and willingness to learn.
