Salary: £40k - £60k basic depending on experience

Car or car allowance

10% commission on GP for lifetime of account

My client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Executive with proven success and ability in Freight Forwarding.

They are looking for someone with the following:

Strong sales ability

Proven billings

Contact book

Able to sell solution-based multimodal Freight Forwarding services

Looking to form partnerships and long-term relationships

Recent experience for more than 3 years as a Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager

This is an international multimodal group, based in the UK and Europe, with trade lanes across Asia and Europe.

They are progressing through a new level of growth and they are looking for Freight Forwarding Business Development Managers at locations across the UK who are able to take them to the next level.

They are looking for a Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager / salesperson with strong knowledge of all sides of a Freight Forwarding business.

You could be based anywhere but ideally you will be commutable to Basildon.

The salary offered for the role of Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager is between £40k and £60k depending on experience and the level of business you have to bring with you, plus car and benefits.

Commission is paid at 10% and is uncapped.

You will be a proven Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Commercial Manager with multimodal Freight Forwarding experience, across any or all of Air, Ocean, Road, Warehousing etc., and trade lanes can be Europe, China / Asia etc. - as long as it is good business we want to talk to you.

The support is already in place with an extensive Operations, Customer Service and Key Account Management team, and a supportive management team with real buy-in through their equity stakes.
