Our client is looking for a Customer Account Coordinator to act as a key point of contact in Barnstaple for their customer account enquiries. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a prestigious Engineering company in North Devon.
This individual will ensure that strategic account orders are closely monitored and progressed to ensure on time delivery. You will be required to provide weekly reports to internal management and external contacts on order status for strategic accounts. You will also support the quotations function as required, ensuring the timely resolution of customer enquiries.
To liaise with Sales Company Coordinators & Product Managers, communicating relevant activities related to managed accounts.
To ensure that part numbers are set up within specified time lines.
To ensure that orders & travel packs are processed, and orders acknowledged quickly.
To monitor strategic order progress via weekly meetings & communicate to stakeholders via weekly reports.
To support improvement activities for allocated Sales Company accounts.
To assist with writing quotations to support the business are completed timely
Ensure on time delivery of customer orders and minimise order processing delays by monitoring and expediting with internal departments
Actively look for ways in which service to strategic accounts can be improved through analysis of process, component availability, etc, putting forward improvement suggestions to line managers and working with relevant functions on implementation.
To actively participate in and contribute to departmental HPT activities and support cover reception with others as and when needed.
Must have a minimum of Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
Experience of working in an engineering/technical environment is desirable.
Demonstrable examples of initiative and drive to solve customer problems.
Demonstrable desire to meet customer requirements.
Ability to identify and implement improvements to working practices.
Adaptable to changing needs and requirements of the workplace.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Competent skill level with IT, Excel, Word, Powerpoint is essential along with experience of a CRM system. JDE Experience is preferred.
