Help manage the operational relationships with our banking partners.
The Banking Operations team take responsibility for all day-to-day banking matters and activities that take place within Banking Operations.
The role of Banking Operations Supervisor is responsible for daily banking activities that include payments in various formats including Crest, BACS, Chaps, foreign remittances and foreign exchange transactions and to help manage the operational relationships with our banking partners and ensure all risks are investigated and escalated promptly.

What you’ll be doing:
Ensure that all banking transactions are made promptly and accurately and in accordance with the requirements of the business
Collaborate with all other operational teams to ensure their banking and payment requirements are met in accordance with deadlines
Maintain and review all team procedures annually or when change is required
Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to team members, actively managing their performance and development through performance reviews
Ensure individual roles are adequately covered and that staff are properly cross trained to ensure there are no key man dependencies
Support the blended working model and prioritise the wellbeing of colleagues
Production of MI including volume of activity, accuracy, forward look against resource requirement and performance against SLA
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge of the banking and payment systems used such as BACS, Chaps and bank portals.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to enhance standards, policies and departmental controls
Well-developed leadership and people management skills, able to drive change and provide positive influence to achieve organisational goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively with teams
Strong problem solving and prioritization skills with a keen eye for detail
Understanding and experience of banking technology and desk top applications
