Job Title: Telecoms Finance Assistant

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
Full Time: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
Our client is a friendly, growing, independent telecoms and energy specialist offering customised communications services to companies across London and the South Coast. They are seeking a candidate with a billing/telecoms background who has a high level of personal organisation with disciplined work habits.
Responsible for ensuring all billing requirements are input and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensuring call & service data records are received, accurate and imported
Assisting with the monthly billing run, to ensure monthly deadlines are met.
Reconciliation of supplier invoices against client invoices, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved prior to the bill run.
Resolving supplier discrepancies and obtaining credits.
Providing excellent telephone and written communication
Managing client queries in an effective timely manner
Log, track and solve errors
Assisting with the implementation of processes to improve areas of the department
Updating and communicating to your Line Manager any supplier price changes
Other duties/special projects as determined by your line manager/Directors
Adhere to company policies and SLAs
B2B Telecoms billing experience is essential
Minimum Year 1 AAT Qualified
You will have expertise in the main Microsoft packages, Excel must be at minimum intermediate level.
Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Excellent attention to detail achieving high levels of accuracy
Natural flair for delivering high levels of Customer Service and communication
Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines
To be strong & assertive
Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple departments (both internal and external)
Being a Team player - understand the importance of collaborative working
