Heres what you will be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this is an exciting new opportunity, ideally suited to an experienced Sales & operational planning professional with a background in manufacturing.
You will manage the planning processes for all Tata Chemicals Europes finished products, ensuring process efficiency and productivity.
Develop and manage a consistent approach across all products for the finished product Production Planning process.
Partner with Operations and Sales to ensure plans align to commercial budget, forecast and scheduled demand/order profile.
Determine key KPIs, and use these to drive improvements.
Responsible for Daily/Weekly/Monthly and ad hoc stock reporting requirements. Determine key KPIs, and use to drive improvements.
Work with Sales and Operations to recommend and maintain optimal stock levels in order to achieve customer satisfaction and mitigate exposure.
Promote and develop tight integration between planning and other operational areas to optimize performance in schedule attainment, adherence and on time delivery.
Support initiatives aimed at improving current business processes and systems.
Analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain. Work closely with customer service and sales to ensure that customers are notified of delays or outages ensuring minimal impact on customer satisfaction
What kind of person are we looking for?
Someone with a passion for manufacturing and process, with the following experience: High level of analytical skills- extracting data from SAP and other reporting tools for modelling into reports for Management information.
High level of SAP Skills in MM modules.
Experience working within a manufacturing business
Experience of previous planning/S&OP roles and a thorough understanding of the supply chain and manufacturing process.
Team player with excellent communication & presentation skills.
