Internal Recruitment Consultant

Tate are currently working with an established national social justice charity to recruit an Internal Recruitment Consultant. Their range of services across England and Wales cover education, housing, support and well-being, substance misuse treatment and the prevention of re-offending. They advise and speak out for and with disadvantaged young people and adults.

The role will be to join the HR Team and to be focused on delivering a great internal service, building relationships, managing volume, and being a recruitment expert.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify, implement and manage the full life cycle recruitment strategies up to Head of level, ensuring the approaches adopted mirror best practice and are cost effective
· Develop and implement route to markets for candidate attraction using social media and relevant platforms such as careers fairs/pages, jobs boards Linkedin etc.
· Work with Hiring Managers and the Brand & Marketing Team to produce recruitment literature to support recruitment events and campaigns.
· Manage the vacancy management process with Hiring Managers to establish the requirements, expectations and deadlines
· Carry out telephone interviews/ initial screening of candidates where required
· Provide interview feedback to candidates where appropriate
· Act as a first point of contact for all candidate queries in relation to the application/ interview and on-boarding processes
· Use the electronic in-house recruitment and HR systems and databases to monitor data and provide trend analysis in relation to spend, recruitment volumes, time to hire etc
· Prepare data for the production of specific management information as requested by the Resources and Planning Manager, HR Business Partners and the wider management population

What experience do you need to succeed?

· In-house recruitment and associated Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
· An in-depth knowledge of recruitment issues and strategies and the ability to produce innovative and effective recruitment solutions
· Understanding of pre-employment screening processes and in particular HR employment law
· Recruiting nationally across a wide geographic and multi-disciplinary organisation and recruiting at all levels including managerial positions
· Internal stakeholder management experience and in particular dealing with senior stakeholders
