This role is for an Outreach Support Staff to work with a year12 pupil in providing high quality education. You will be expected to work in the pupil's home and work towards increasing their confidence and independence. The pupil in question has not been in education for some time and so you will need to be both passionate and resilient.
To fulfil the requirements of an Outreach Support Staff, you will be working with another Teaching Assistant and support the pupil with activities such as food shopping, healthy eating, etc. This position is advertised as being full time, long - term, 5 days a week. Potentially this vacancy could increase to a permanent position as the student's level of confidence increases.
The successful Support Staff will:
Have previous experience working with SEND pupils
Be available to start working part time ASAP
Display both confidence and patience
Have an enhanced DBS on the update system
