Are you looking to continue the fulfilling work you have previously done working as a mental health nurse? A rewarding opportunity has opened up for a great nurse to become part of the fantastic team at Tameside.

Based at Tameside General hospital on Saxon Suite and the hours are 37.5 per week. The pay rates are flexible dependant on experience but as an average would be between £25-£36

MAIN DUTIES

To manage caseloads effectively, making the best use of time and resources and ensure that any unresolved issues for clients and their relatives/carers are Identified and referred to the appropriate personnel.
To keep accurate and timely professional records of nursing care, ensuring confidentiality is maintained in live with Trust policy.
To participate in the assessment of students allocated to the Acute Mental Health Service and in conjunction with other disciplines ensuring their development needs are addressed.
In consultation with the Ward Manager, establish priorities in workload and organise the working day to make effective use of resources.
To deal with complaints from clients and relatives in accordance with Pennine Trust Complaints Procedure.
To participate in ward meetings and task groups as requested.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Valid NMC PIN

- Experience in NHS mental Health team

- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification
