An Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Fostering Administrator to join their team in Uxbridge. As the Fostering Administrator, you will be willing to take on new challenges and be part of a growing team committed to change. You will be involved in the administrative support of this Independent Fostering Agency. This role is full time (5 days/week - 9:30am - 5:30pm) and a permanent position.

The Ideal Fostering Administrator, you must have extensive knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office, particularly

Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

Support the Administrator in maintaining the smooth running of administrative activities throughout the agency.
Taking/making phone calls promptly and courteously.
Ensure visitors are met and greeted professionally.
Managing and hosting virtual platforms for meetings and events.
Taking minutes of meetings and panel interviews.
Support the administration of agency panel events.
Participate in recruitment activities and follow up leads and initial enquiries.
Assist with all general administrative work associated with foster carer assessments such as conducting background checks and applying for references.
Assist with administration of carer annual reviews and training provision.
Assist with administration and hosting of agency events.
Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for staff.
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
Create and maintain up to date records and databases and directories.
Track stocks of office supplies.
Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.
Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

Educated to GCSE standard
Ability to learn new systems/processes quickly and effectively
Good time management skills

Location: Uxbridge

Salary: up to £26,000
