Quality Control Warehouse First Line Manager
Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £30,000

Supervise the Quality Control team and provide support to ensure that departmental processes are followed and systems are maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements (GDP) and customer expectations.
" Ensure daily QC activities are completed by the QC team, to include Quality processing for inbound pharmaceutical products, temperature management processes, sampling activities and final warehouse batch release following release of products by client Qualified Persons.
" Support QC Systems functionality ensuring spreadsheets and other tools used for daily activities operate correctly.
" Support the QA/QC Site Lead in generating metrics for the department to report to the client (both routine reports and adhoc requests to demonstrate health of the department), Monitoring and reporting contractual QC KPIs as agreed with the client.
" Support the QA/QC Site Lead in processing pharmaceutical Returns and Recalls end to end.
" Take a lead role in quality activities for CAPA Management - root cause analysis for deviations, creating mitigating action plans and working with operational teams to resolve issues.
" Support the quality management team with QA related processes such as internal audits, CAPA management and change controls.
" Responsibility for management of the temperature monitoring system, ensuring QC team complete temperature monitoring activities.
" Develop and maintain robust QC procedures for related activities ensuring full regulatory compliance.
" Support the QA/QC Site Lead in liaising directly with clients, including reporting of KPIs and attending internal management review meetings and monthly and Quarterly meetings with clients.
" Support business strategies and embrace a culture of quality and excellence.

Candidate Requirements

Experience of working in a Food Manufacturing or Pharma environment. (Clean room)
Warehouse Management background
Experience of Warehouse Management systems
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and good at paying attention to detail.
Enthusiastic and a good team player
Proactive, task orientated and good at completing tasks and meeting targets in a timely manner.
IT literate - intermediate level with MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
Fast learner and able to work in a changing environment.
