Position: IT Support Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary: Up to £37,000
Responsibilities shall include: -
Be able to manage the day-to-day operations of the I.T. department including supervising a small team.
Train users of the Company’s Software remotely and onsite.
Ability to maintain effective relationships with customers
Regularly review and communicate progress against objectives and adjust as needed
Champion continuous improvement
Take responsibility of I.T. Service Management issues, solving them through to resolution, making key decisions where appropriate and communicating effectively with external customers, and colleagues alike.
Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Good understanding of Networking, servers, switches, routers, I.P addressing and firewalls.
Comp TIA would be advantageous but not necessary
Training on specific bespoke software is provided
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required: -
A background in service/incident management and be able to take ownership of issues raised by all levels of external clients and staff
Be analytical in your approach and resolve a range of issues ranging from basic to more complex resolutions
Basic SQL knowledge (desirable)
Previous experience in a similar role and environment of both remote and face to face support
Full driving licence
