Permanent role

Due to continued expansion, the UK’s most trusted energy broker is seeking a strong Administrator to join their procurement team in the Blackpool hub.

The Company primarily works with the not-for-profit sector, helping charities and other organisations to get the best deals for their electricity, gas and water supplies. The procurement team support the growing sales team (in offices nationwide), working with more than 27 suppliers, audit the customer’s current supply details, go out to the whole B2B utilities market to find the best deal for them, ensure the signed contract is accepted by the supplier and then follow the supply through the switching journey to resolve any issues that may block the transfer.

Despite the current Energy market, they are busy and expanding

Key Responsibilities:

Produce personalised quotes in Excel for clients from bespoke tenders or supplier price books.

Request or create legal contracts for customers for their energy supply.

Work with multiple sales teams to ensure prices are delivered exactly when required in a fast-paced market where prices can change by the hour.

Send pricing tenders out to energy suppliers with accurate details of the customer’s requirements.

Provide price feedback to suppliers to help them track their position in an extremely competitive field.

Requirements for the role:

Speed and accuracy of work, especially using Microsoft Excel. Ability to multitask and work with a busy workload

Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail with analytical mind

Proactive, positive and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Able to build relationships with other teams within the business, as well as external suppliers and account managers.

Great communicator.

Energy Industry Experience preferred (but NOT essential)
