Our client who are the licensed UK Distributor for a leading Global Sports brand , due to expansion are now looking for a Air and Sea Freight Logistics Administrator / Operator to join their team in the North West. Ideally all applicants will be based within commuting distance of Wilmslow, as even though the role will be working from home their are plans to meet up at least once a week moving forward at serviced offices in Wilmslow.

The company itself are growing rapidly at the moment, with 20 staff in the UK currently and 75 worldwide. The company take kit orders from Sports Clubs, many of which are Professional clubs across various Sports including Football, Rugby, Cricket and Netball. In addition they also work with various Schools across the UK.
The Logistics administrator would then liase with the vendor supply base across 20 plus factories worldwide, working closely with the Sales Support team, to ensure goods are collected on time by the nominated Freight Forwarder, ensure the shipping documentation is correct, the destinations are correct, check ETA's, stock lists, report delays in conjunction with the sales support team and the oder is follow through to delivery.
Once delivered, confirmation of receipt of goods is required and the order has arrived in full before the invoiced is confirmed ok to be paid.
All candidates from a Freight Forwarding Air, Sea and Road will be considered , as will any Manufacturing import / export Shipping Clerks.
Good customer service skills, IT skills, organisation, administration and a logical thinker would also be useful
