We are looking for a proactive, hands-on experienced Sales team Leader who is passionate about sales, people and service. A passion for environmental affairs would be a bonus.

About the role

You will be managing a small, established team of Sales Executives whose job it is to manage and handle all customer sales enquiries about products and services.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring all enquiries are handled in the appropriate way, following guidelines and process whilst maintaining a friendly, customer first approach, that sets my client apart from other organizations to ensure they meet their sales targets. This includes getting stuck in to show the team how to do it !

Working closely with and supporting the management in tracking enquiries through the sales funnel.

Providing weekly reporting and updates in line with business requirements.

You will have excellent people and communication skills and a knack for understanding customer needs and motivations in order to identify those who could really benefit from the technology - as well as the ability to understand how to get the most out of the individual members of your team.

You will be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure we meet both customer and business expectations and be happy to speak with customers on the phone as required to support the team and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring you and the team are following processes and ultimately being responsible for their day to day activity and sales targets.

Implement and develop measures to ensure call quality and adherence to sales processes as enquiries increase.

Keep track of all opportunities in the sales funnel, be able to report on their status an ensure SLA’s are being met

Work with the wider team as required to gain answers to technical questions about proposals and our products and services to help progress the sale

Feedback on process improvements to help improve the sales process

Ensure best practice is being followed in terms of developing a consultative sales approach, coach and mentor team members where necessary to help them develop their sales skills

Ensuring that all communication with customers, whether verbally over the phone or in follow up emails is friendly, timely, accurate and 'customer first’, delivering a first class experience with us.

Desired Experience

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a team leader sales role

You will have experience within a selling a technical product or service ideally within environmental or HVAC products.
