GxP recruitment invites applications on behalf of our client in Grangemouth where an excellent new position has become available for a Supply Chain Assistant to their team on a 6 month temporary contract.
Key duties include:
* Resolving invoicing issues & queries.
* Working closely with the Finance teams to facilitate supplier payments.
* Understanding and complying with current Purchasing authorisation spend limits.
* Maintaining SAP data integrity – ensure SAP is maintained with up to date and accurate information.
* Communicating with Suppliers, Shared Service Centre & Internal Departments.
* Working closely and proactively with the Purchasing team to resolve queries.
* Generate KPI reports.
The ideal candidate:
* SAP and MS Office experience is essential
* Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders
* A good relationship builder
* Experience of working in a finance or purchasing team would be preferable
* CIPS or finance qualified or studying towards CIPS is preferable
* Experience dealing with suppliers
* Experience resolving supplier invoicing issues is essential
