Basic Salary circa £70,000 + benefits
This role can be home based but will need to visit the office in Oxford 1 day per week
My client is a world renowned business psychology solutions provider, specialising in psychometric profiling, training and consultancy. This operationally strategic role heads up the Professional Services department and is responsible for the delivery of certification training and consultancy services in the UK. A brilliant opportunity for someone with strategic senior management experience in a commercial training and consultancy environment who has also managed a training delivery team.
This role has full P&L responsibility in both the training and consultancy side of the organisation, ensuring that the department delivers a positive return.
Creating and delivering the business strategy to meet both the organisation's and clients' needs.
Managing a team of consultants, trainers, an operations manager and indirectly, an operations team.
Working closely with the sales function and bids team to review new consultancy opportunities and manage resources
Ensuring all public and in-house training is resourced and successfully delivered and supporting with delivery on client projects as and when needed.
Ensuring relevant processes are in place to monitor and manage quality, including making sure customer feedback is handled professionally, and provided back to recognise achievement and address performance issues and drive quality improvements.
Responsible for effective recruitment, training/coaching, team and individual development and performance management.
We're looking for an inspirational and strategic leader with a minimum of 10 years working in a commercial training or consultancy environment.
You'll have a least 3 years experience managing a delivery team
Proven ability to build and develop a team of consultants/trainers
You'll have some previous experience or exposure to psychometric solutions for businesses
You'll have a qualification in business psychology or a related subject
Ideally you will have 2+ year's experience of managing a P&L
Someone used to collaborating closely with professional sales colleagues to sell and project manage complex and high value pieces of work
You'll be a strategic thinker with good delivery and facilitation skills as well as strong presentation ability.
A basic salary circa £70,000 is offered
