Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for the finance, bookkeeping and cashflow as well as supporting with general administration and PA tasks to keep the office running smoothly. This role has potential to expand and develop in the future alongside the growth of the business. 

This role is working part time working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am to 4pm within Wednesday being your day off.

What the job entails! 

Recording financial transactions, day to day bookkeeping and cash flow management
Monitor and ensure retentions are charged 
Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries 
Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients  
Updating site reports with required information 
Booking transport and accommodation 
Ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels 
Being able to muck in with whatever is needed to keep the office running smoothly! 

What we need from you! 

Experience in bookkeeping or administration, preferably with accounting software experience such as Xero or similar
Experience invoicing retentions within the construction industry and utilisation of the Simpro system
Excellent numeracy skills  
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
Proficient IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Office 
Self-motivated with a good work ethic 
Well organised with the ability to use initiative to prioritise workload 
Takes ownership and responsibility of tasks and ensure that they are completed to a high standard 
High attention to detail
