A brand new state-of-the-art Burton-Upon-Trent based residential home that offers over 45 ensuite bedrooms is actively recruiting for a care assistant.

You will have the opportunity to gain a contract based on various part time availability, we are looking for 11 Care Assistants at this new residence. With contracts from 17.5 hours a week to 35 hours a week. Hourly pay rate £9.11 with uplift to £9.30

The role as a Care Assistant in this luxurious property is to;

Support the residents who are over 55 in their individual care needs to ensure that people live as independently as possible. The community within welcomes individuals, couples and even their pets
Duties include supporting the customers over all well being
Assisting with all aspects of personal care such as dressing, bathing, administering medication and preparing meals
You will be a natural care giver and someone who can communicate in an open and honest manner with your colleagues, residents and their visitors
Due to the nature of this role no one day is the same, you will have daily tasks and duties however flexibility and the ability to time manage is key

We are keen to speak with people with the following attributes;

Experience in care positions is advantageous but not essential as full induction training will be given, caring for a family member is experience
Approachability: a willingness to help others, requiring patience, kindness and good communication
Customer-centred: they are your day-to-day focus, support them to express themselves and help with decision making
Co-operation: work together with your colleagues, customers and families
Open and honest, respectful and celebrate diversity, connect with colleagues and residents to celebrate uniqueness
