Our client are one of the UK's leading providers of occupational health services who are seeking a 1st Line Service Desk Technician to join their team. They offer a full portfolio of occupational health services, combining them into bespoke programmes that suit individual organisations and their needs. They also provide innovative medical care training courses that give personnel the skills they need to handle medical emergencies.

About the role

Work with internal and external users resolving simple issues and setting realistic expectations
Promptly escalate issues that are more complex, whilst maintaining ownership of the raised issue
Manage and record inbound helpdesk requests through a ticketing system
Accurately record tickets on behalf of users and gather sufficient information to promote the best solution
Work strictly within the bounds of our Information Security Management System to help protect the sensitive information
Maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficientlyAbout you

Clear communicator with excellent customer service skills
An excellent approach to customer service both over the telephone and face to face
Critical thinking skills
Good IT skills to include the use of database systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel
A minimum GCSE C Grade in both English and Maths
Calm, organised and professional manner even when working under pressure Benefits the role offers
