A client of ours in the Colchester area is looking for an Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a full time permanent role paying a negotiable entry level salary and working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. This is an ideal place for a candidate whom is ambitious, hardworking and loves working in a fast paced career,

Tasks and responsibilities for this Account Manager will include:

Manage clients daily volumes & orders
Sales calls / Client follow up
Increase UK client portfolio
Negotiating rates with suppliers and subcontractors
Complete order entry process through to completion
Planning, organising and coordinating activities via network / subcontractors
Updating customers on delays and issues
Using in-house transport management system to monitor and update the progress of each orderThe role involves interaction with partners and colleagues from the companies offices throughout Europe. You will need to be able to multitask and be accurate in verifying and informing information.

Skills and experience required to be considered for this role include but are not limited to:

Experience working in a sales, call centre and customer service environment
Ability to communicate effectively with internal & external parties
Strong IT skills
