The role sits as part of the Procurement function, and you'd work closely with an Innovation Buyer supporting with the administration of key sustainability tasks across the business

So what will be involved in the role?
As you would expect from an Administrator vacancy, admin is a key part of the role. Specifically you'd be responsible for collecting sustainability data to help create relevant reports, and provide admin support to ensure legislative compliance.
Collaborative working is another key part of the role. You'll liaise across various departments to understand how consumables are used so they can be replaced with more sustainable options.
Talking directly to suppliers to source sustainable alternatives to regularly purchased items.
Daily use of Microsoft Excel, including data collection, manipulating and interpretation.

What are we looking for?
A genuine passion and interest would be great given the nature of the tasks and goals that come with working in the area. As an entry level role no experience is required in procurement but having a willingness to learn and a can do attitude is a must.
The procurement team works collaboratively with many different departments so strong communication skills are important.
Strong IT experience and an analytical mindset is important to this role specifically using programs like Microsoft Excel.
