Summary of the role

You will work for a specialist organisation renowned for their service in helping clients with complex mental health support needs progress towards independence.

The service supports people who have been released from hospital, and provides care accommodation for up to 2 years until they become independent. You will support a wider group of 30 at the project. Helping them to engage in the community. Access community services, as well as work and education opportunities. With a big focus on supporting them to become independent and to recover. You will be expected to key work, deliver risk assessments,  and set up support plans for the service users when needed.

You will be managing a hardworking team of 8, and will be expected to assist in some aspects of personal care - this is a hands-on role so you must be willing to help at all times.

Working hours

The service runs for 24 hours.

Expect to work in shifting patterns which could be from 9AM-5PM, 10AM-6PM, 2PM-10PM, etc...

You must be willing to take on sleep-in shifts when needed where you stay in from 10PM-8AM (you get an extra £82)

Please note: this role is currently on a FTC until Oct 2022
