You’ll be the Operations Lead for a large housing company, with responsibility across the southwest. This isn’t your standard operations role, and your job will evolve with the project, from developing bid commitments in the mobilisation stage, through to delivering the quality, customer focused service that you’ll be known for.
About you

You’re organised, articulate, and happy in front of the client
Your driven to succeed, and love delivering a great customer experience
You’re a top notch communicator, with the ability to influence decisions and negotiate great outcomes
You’ll be experienced in a continuous improvement approach in your delivery and have implemented this in the construction industry in the repairs and maintenance field.
You’ve worked in a senior role, managing high value projects
You perform well under pressure, can make quick decisions, and you don’t crumble when handling time sensitive issues
You’ve got experience leading and managing a Housing Repairs, Maintenance and Void preparation contracts
You’re a multitasker and you’ll be able to manage multiple sites, contracts and clients  
Your day-to-day

You’ll be bringing a safety-first culture into your new role and making sure that spreads to all our partners and projects.
You’ll always have one eye on asset compliance.
You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary technical team, and together you’ll provide a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service.
You’ll be responsible for customer satisfaction, making sure completions are on time, right first time, and appointments are kept.
You’ll be doing P&L for the contract.
You’ll have responsibility for the delivery of grounds maintenance across the estate.
You’ll lead, mentor and motivate the VIVO and Service Partner teams, and lead by example
You will be developing sustainable key Client and Stakeholder relationships
The works you’ll look after will include repairs, damp, subsidence, structural works on both occupied and void properties, as well as substantial upgrade programmes.
Technology and innovation will be within your remit to, making sure we’re at the cutting edge.
You’ll attend senior client and stakeholder meetings, representing VIVO
Overall, the responsibility for project operations will sit with you, and you’ll have ownership of issues, complaints and service improvements.  

We need someone who has a recognised qualification in engineering, building services, management or facilities management (ILM, HNC, HND or equivalent vocational qualification)
It would be great if you have ISOH, British Safety Council safety certification or similar
