We have an exciting opportunity for a HR & Recruitment Administrator to join the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer!

The Role

Key responsibilities will include owning the HR/ Payroll administration for the business, maintaining the HR email inboxes and working closely with the HR Business Partners to ensure data accuracy across the HR files and systems. In this role you will act as a first point of contact for payroll and data queries. Supporting the Talent team with Candidate onboarding and support L&D team with administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Organising and uploading retail employees appraisals to the relevant database.
Constructing and sending out letters to employees in the company where necessary.
Attending meetings with HR Business Partners – consultation meetings, disciplinary etc. and minute taking
HR admin tasks such as responding to resignations, Change of Circumstances (promotions) in the correct format etc.
Maintain Payroll Administration such as Refer and Earn, end of month cut off for all new joiners, action all leavers via Payroll
Maintaining Majestic Wine’s online certificate of sponsorship and keeping on top of all relevant documentation.
Maintain updated RTW Checks
Rewards for people who have worked milestone lengths of service in Majestic.
Ensure changes to employee terms and conditions are actioned, systems amended and files kept updated.
Support the Talent Team with Recruitment and onboarding
Create Job adverts via Harbour
Answering all queries via Freshdesk and allocate to appropriate team members
Generate contracts for all new joiners and
Support the HR team in researching and developing existing and new policy and procedures and in undertaking project work.
Designs and produces regular statistical reports on HR information e.g. turnover, recruitment data, sickness absence, other absences, headcount etc in collaboration with Payroll.
Perform any other adhoc duties as and when required
Update and maintain Company Organisational Chart

Knowledge & Skills Required:

Computer literacy (MS Office applications, Excel, in particular, is a must)
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Strong Administration skills

Demonstrated problem solving & analytical skills

Job Specifics:

Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office

We are proud to offer a new Agile Working Policy for Support Centre colleagues; a blend of office and home working which will include a number of days working at the Majestic Office (post CV19 lockdown restrictions)
