Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to start work with a well-established and collaborative company based in Tewkesbury!

In this role you will have the opportunity to utilise and expand your knowledge with a range of exciting projects and clients in the telecommunications, broadcast, power generation and defence sector, with values ranging from £10k up to £2million.
Works include turnkey solutions on new builds, civils works, M&E, structural engineering, refurbishment, and maintenance.
We are looking for driven individuals to take on responsibilities that include:
Assisting/leading the day-to-day commercial management of multiple projects
Work as part of the commercial team on estimating and surveying tasks
Attend progress and design meetings as necessary
Carry out measures on site and on drawings using traditional and modern methods
Issue enquiries and create sub-contract and purchase orders
Ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality guidelines are maintained and/or exceeded
Liaise with and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and supply chain
Review tenders, enquiries, and quotations
Producing variation quotations and monthly valuations
For this role you will need to have a full UK driving licence including own transport (business mileage and travel expenses are paid separately) and relevant computer skills. You will also need the ability to work independently, but also as part of a team and hold a construction Knowledge
Although not essential, it would be advantageous to be working towards a HNC/HND/degree qualification hold an in-date CSCS card or working towards one and also be working towards MCIOB or MRICS
You will be offered:
Salary range of £30,000.00 - £40,000.00 DOE

This role would suit an aspiring Assistant Quantity Surveyor or one that is ready to make the jump to Quantity Surveyor. Full support and training will be provided by the team of experienced professionals so no previous experience in our specialist sector is required.
