The Accounts Assistant role is predominately focused on the Purchase Ledger, you be working with a small but busy Ledger team and full training will be provided. The client deal with some of the biggest brand names within the retail industry, this role is a real opportunity for you to get your teeth into some interesting queries.

Client Details

The client is one of the largest local employers in South Wales and is well known for the support they offer their employees. They are based close to the A465, they also have free parking on site. The site is also easily accessible from Merthyr Tydfil, Abergavenny, Ebbw Vale and surrounding towns.


As a Purchase Ledger you would be:

To ensure accurate and timely processing of puchase invoices
Develop and maintain effective relationships with our internal and external customers
Communicate internally with different departments to resolve queries
Carry out stement reconcilations and bank reconciliations
Investigate queries, and pursue credit notes for the businessProfile

The successful candidate for the Purchase Ledger role will:

Have worked in finance previously
Ideally have worked with Finance systems previouslyJob Offer

The ideal candidate will be offered:

£19,000-£23,000 per annum
Plus Holiday and Pension
