This position for a Automotive Bodyshop Customer Service advisor / Bodyshop Administrator is an important role within the business, as you will be the first person that all customers deal with and so delivery of a first-class service is essential. This position and requires an experienced candidate who has worked in either an Accident repair centre, dealership or automotive business.
As an Automotive Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor your role will include:
Handle calls from customers who have their vehicle booked in for repair with the centre
Deal with customers coming into site and ensure their needs are identified and met
Deal with all administration regarding all customer claims and documentation
Ensure customer awareness of all products and services available
Approach all customers and assist with requests, including requests regarding vehicle repairs
Prepare job packs
Update Autoflow bodyshop management system as required
Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and all customer complaints to be brought to the attention of the Bodyshop Manager
Initiate job documentation and maintain customer records and follow-up systems
Follow correct procedure when issuing courtesy cars to customers, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and copies of customer's driving licence are obtained (when applicable)
Receive and register payments for work carried out and ensure that the correct company procedures are adopted for verification of payment, handling, transferring and depositing cash for the Paint & Body Centre (if applicable)
Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Operations Managers
Experience Required: Automotive Customer Service Advisor / Bodyshop Administrator
You must have an excellent customer focused service background
Ideally you will have worked in a Bodyshop / Accident repair centre or Dealership in a customer focused role
You will have an excellent telephone manner and go above and beyond for all customers
Multi-tasking is essential as this role is very busy and requires attention to detail
Ability to upsell to customers
