They are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager responsible for sales of insulation products throughout Scotland selling into distributors and generating demand through main & Sub contractors and specifiers.

The Area Sales Manager’s primary focus will be to build on business relationships through customer communications to maximise favourable exposure of the company, its products and its services. The position involves being accountable for maintaining and developing relationships with distribution, main contractors, sub-contractors and architects to generate specifications for insulation products

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the identification of all customers/potential customers, markets and product applications within area of ownership.

* Initiate, develop and manage sales activities within a geographical area to support business objectives.

* Responsible for customer communication to maximise business relationships and ensure maximum favourable exposure of the company, its products and services.

* Accountable for maximising conversion to order as a result of proactive response to customer contact, enquiries, tenders and requests to quote.

* Responsible for feeding-back marketing information concerning competition, customers etc. with respect to project specifications, pricing, distribution, and delivery.

* Responsible for providing to customers professional technical advice and support, services, and training to develop augmented product and improve market share.

* Accountable for the formulation of area sales input to the annual business plans/strategy.

* Generate specifications.

* Undertake CPD presentations.

Key Skills:

* Experience in a similar role

* Be based within the region

* Will be familiar with selling into or within the construction industry

* Will be able to deliver CPD’s

* Must be highly motivated

* Ability to exceed sales targets

* Excellent communication skills

* Be a good team player

* Hold a full UK driving license

* Adaptability to travel and work away from home when needed

Remuneration

* £35,000 - £40,000

* Up to £9,500 Bonus

* Pension

* Electric Car or Car Allowance

* 23 Days holidays + Bank Holidays
