HR Co-Ordinator - £25,000 - £29,000 - Dorking


Are you a HR Professional interested in working for a forward thinking privately-owned facilities management business? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, plans and prioritises their own workload effectively.

This will be a generalist HR role, providing full support to various HR processes, delivering value to staff throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment & onboarding to training/development & employee relations. You will actively support the HR team in the development of the HR department and the services provided. This position reports in to the HR Director.

Key Accountabilities

To work as a key part of the HR Services team with the aim of continually improving communication within the business and the harmonisation of processes
Deal with various people management issues and queries with the purpose of resolving them
Chair Investigation and Disciplinary meetings, as well as note-taking in meetings when required
Accurate input and processing of new starters, employee change & leaver forms into our HR System and communicate it to payroll
Manage the personnel records, ensuring all are kept up to date and comply with the relevant data protection laws and regulation
Understand the employers Right to Work requirements in the UK and assist with checking when neededWhat we want from you

Candidates will require strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and be able to work autonomously employing their own initiative to problem solve and mange deadlines. The HR Coordinator will ideally have 2+ years relevant experience and working towards a CIPD or equivalent qualification would be advantageous (the company are willing to support ongoing studies).

Excellent communication skills - clear, simple, unambiguous and well structured, and to have confidence in dealing with all areas and levels within our business
Knowledge of Right to Work checks, Data Protection, GDPR & basic knowledge of UK Employment Law.
Ability to react positively to sudden and unexpected changes in demand; work effectively under pressure
Prioritising and managing own workload taking accountability and responsibility for completion.
Experience of HR; accurate with a high attention to detail
A good standard of education is essential
Intermediate level of IT literacy with Excel, database administration, Word, PowerPoint
