A Manufacturing Business based in South Birmingham, working closely with some of the world's largest Food businesses. After seeing a large increase in production due to key investments over the past few years, the company are seeking to rapidly expand their team to fulfil their various projects with customers and are looking for a Project Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Programme Manager A Project Coordinator is now required join the team on a permanent basis to efficiently plan and co-ordinate key business critical projects.
Standard Day shifts 9am-4:30pm
You will take responsibility for:
Planning, scoping, and drawing individual projects set by the commercial/technical teams ensuring business objectives are met with.
Managing portfolio of internal and external projects and regularly communicate progress to all stakeholders
Ensure all documents are up to date such as grant charts, CRM system, written reports, and presentations.
Proactively building and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders and customers
Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and roadblocks of project delivery. Keeping up to date with health and safety and always ensuring quality and compliance to meet legal obligations whilst supporting continuous development.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
At least 2 years project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of working within an environment adhering to Prince2/APMQ frameworks
GCSE pass or functional skills in English and Maths.
Computer literate and skilled in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
A skilled communicator who is confident dealing with customers and stakeholders and can work independently and as part of a team.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
Qualified in Prince2/APMQ is highly advantageous
Previous Projects experience working within the packaging / manufacturing / R&D / Plastics/ Polymers industries would be desirable
