Our client is a customer focused business who take great pride in looking after their customer relationships long term. This role will involve meeting customers' needs and solving problems to make sure that customer satisfaction is always met.

Due to growth, they are opening a brand new depot near Gateshead! They are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive x2 who are passionate about Customer Service and Sales! You will be part of the sales office team reporting into the Sales Office Team Leader, also working alongside the management team, warehouse team & drivers.

The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for providing an excellent level of customer service to our customers, processing quotes and sales orders accurately, ensuring the depot admin is carried out to a high standard, serving on the trade counter, and managing customers by reactivating dormant customers, carrying out on-going customer account management, achieving and exceeding specific sales targets including customer reactivation, cross selling, and upselling.

Responsibilities:

To offer excellent levels of service to the customer.
Answering the telephone and assisting with phone queries, phone orders.
To input orders onto the system in 'real time' and ensure the orders are correct.
To Input quotes onto the system and monitor and chase.
Able to give up to date and knowledgeable product advice.
Ensure the customer is kept informed of any changes to their orders/accounts in a timely manner
CRM management, cleansing, updating, and maintaining data.
Serve on the Trade Counter.
Complete depot administrative tasks accurately and to a high standard.
To upsell and cross sell by promoting new or existing products, making product recommendation, and notifying customers of promotions.
Telephone and email follow up to support marketing campaigns and exhibitions.
Promote website usage, ordering and the benefits.
To manage given accounts list.
To ensure that all accounts are proactively contacted to ensure sales are maximised.
Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
Aid Credit Control in managing the status of each account. To liaise with Credit Control to flag any issues
To ensure that problems / issues with accounts are highlighted in a concise and timely manner to enable them to be resolved quickly and correctly and documented against the customer
Large or specialist enquires are flagged to your line manager to ensure that they are priced accordingly to win the business
Any further duties to enable to Company run smoothly and efficiently

Be open to learning - keeping up to date product knowledge is needed for advising customersEmployment Details:

£20,000-£24,500 & Company Bonus
42 hours per week - 07:30-5:00 Mon-Thurs and 7:30-4:30 Fri (paid for 43 hrs to include 1 in 4 Saturday's which is 8am-12pm)
28 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays, plus loyalty scheme. Holiday year January - December, Christmas closure taken from holiday.
Work wear will be provided

Our client will be looking to conduct interviews this week or next with a view for the right candidate to start end of May / beginning of June.
