My client are a progressive, and expanding, NACOSS Gold and BAFE FIRE Gold accredited Integrated Security and Fire Systems company and they are urgently recruitng for a Senior Installation Project Engineer to join their team.

They are looking for an engineer with a good background in fire and security systems no service and maintenance just installation, commissioning, handover and onsite training.

No call out or service and maintenance for this role.

Duties will include the planning, co-ordination and successful implementation of Fire & Security systems installations in the London and Home Counties region.

Salary is dependent, and negotiable, upon experience but this will based on fixed PAYE salary, plus overtime, plus company vehicle, phone, PDA and laptop.

All specialist plant and equipment will be provided. Any candidate with strong experience of only some disciplines within the integrated market may be considered. In this case, a training program will be provided in the other relevant disciplines.

Job Requirements:

Technical:

Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all disciplines of Integrated Security Systems

Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all Fire Alarm Systems (this is not necessarily a pre-requisite as training can be given)

Technical sound regarding electrical principles

Able to supervise other engineers as part of a team

Sound knowledge of relevant British and European standards

PC literate with at least a basic knowledge of network/IP environments

A good communicator with clients and colleagues

Eager to participate in ongoing training and to progress

Happy working as part of a team that supports one another

Happy to train apprentices on the go

Self-motivated and willing to use initiative
