Empowering Learning are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Music to work in a school rated good in the Salford area on a full/part-time basis. The school require a Teacher of Music able to start soon as possible with the position lasting until the end of the academic year. There is the possibility of a permanent appointment following a successful period with the school.

You will be responsible for working primarily with KS3 classes although there are KS4 classes included in the timetable.

11-16 secondary school

What you will need to be successful in this Teacher of Music:

QTLS or equivalent

NQT's are welcome to apply

DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one

A strong classroom practitioner

Ability to engage students from a wide range of backgrounds

Able to work as part of a team.
