Overview
Role: Interim Registered Manager
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Contract Length: 3 months initially, with a view to extend
Rate of Pay: Up to £400 day
Duties
To be responsible for the management and operational delivery of the Children’s Home, and to oversee the implementation of standards as required by OFSTED
To ensure that the Children's Home provision meets with required inspection standards under OFSTED, and is delivered in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) in addition to being compliant with any new policy and/or guidance which may come into force.
To ensure positive outcomes are achieved through the delivery of high-quality support.
To work alongside the CQC Registered Manager, Head of Operations (Social Care) and Director of Social care to review, monitor and plan residential services, and to work on Improvement Plans and overall strategic direction.
To be the Registered Manager for the bungalows that are the Children’s Home. This will include line management of the other Children’s Home Managers and the Night Team Manager.
To lead and direct others to provide person centred support to young people with physical disabilities and complex health needs in order to promote independence and personal fulfilment
To be part of the first level 24hr on-call rota for residential services
Experience Required
Proven experience managing a Children’s Home, specialising in Leaning Difficulties and Complex Needs
Willing to register with OFSTED as the home manager
A demonstrable record of OFSTED Compliance
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Track record of successfully managing a team of Social Care staff
Right to work in the UK
