A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bristol are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join their award-winning team and help drive forward their ambitious plans for digital transformation.

BIM Coordinator - Role and Responsibilities

Support the company Digital Engineering Group
Manage drawing templates, written workflows and digital components for the Architectural Discipline
Be responsible for collaboration with other discipline champions to ensure cross discipline constancy for the above items.
Support for project teams with project set-up using updated infrastructure
Preparation of "technology case studies" and collation of model BIM answers for bidding
Prepare marketing material as outward communications to highlight the company's leading multi-disciplinary position in the market
Pilot new technology and processes to ensure our designers are utilising the very latest tools
Input into the development of the Digital Transformation Strategy for BIM (DTSB)
Assist with the roll out of new inanities from the DTSB
Carry out detailed in-house training and specify external training
Assist with the auditing of existing software usage, identify champions, and raise visibility of capabilities across the business
Review and recommend software and training requirements
Assist with the annual BSI BIM Certification process and train regional champions
Champion BIM, Digital Technologies, connected data, single sources of the truth, and collaborative working behaviours.

BIM Coordinator - Experience and Skills Required

Personal Attributes:

Good time management skills with the ability to work independently as required
A proactive "can do" and collaborative attitude
Strong knowledge of BIM standards, emerging software, and industry developments
Awareness of own strengths and weaknesses with a commitment to self and team development
Able to build trust, maintain excellent working relationships, and pursue new business
Experience using a variety of software for a variety of applications such as;
- BIM authoring (eg. Revit)
- BIM co-ordination / data collation (eg. Solibri)
- Reporting (eg. Power BI)
- Cloud Database (eg. AirTable)
- Collaboration (eg. BIM Track)
- Common Data Environment (eg. Asite)
- Communication (eg. Teams / Zoom)

BIM Coordinator - Qualifications & Experience:

Must have some industry experience in a relevant position (all levels considered)

Bachelors / Masters / other qualifications in either built environment / BIM / data science or change management is desirable, but not essential
