P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently recruiting a Personnel Coordinator to join their team based in Gorleston on a full time, permanent basis.

The Personnel Co-Ordinator is responsible for the overall logistics management of the UK organisation’s offshore team, ensuring the planning and management meets our client’s requirements.

This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and challenging work environment. The candidate must have a proactive and flexible approach to working, likes to work as part of a team and is an excellent communicator. This position will also provide key administration support to the Group HR Manager.

Main Responsibilities

* Liaise with UK Sales and Technical managers to manage the allocation of our offshore personnel to our clients worksite (vessels, platforms, overseas, etc)

* Create comprehensive offshore work packs and distribute to offshore team

* Manage the applications of all visa/work permits

* Booking of all travel and accommodation arrangements to mobilise our offshore team

* Ensure suitable medicals, offshore survivals and vaccinations are in place at all times

* Check IR35 status of any contractor we use

* Provide front line customer interaction as required

* Provide office reception cover as required

* Oversee company staff expenses process

* Control & update PPE register

* Provide out of hours support/assistance as required

* Collating overtime and away from home allowances for payroll

* Manage company on call rotas and notification/distribution internally and to clients

* Provide administration support to the Group HR Manager

* Ensure every customer receives the best customer service

Person Specification

* Previous experience within offshore travel coordination role is essential

* Previous experience undertaking a variety of HR administrative duties.

* Ability to prioritise own workload and monitor/control activities effectively

* Must be team-oriented with a positive attitude and work well with others

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential

* Excellent communication skills

* Ambitious and self-motivated

* Committed to hard work

* Passionate to develop and progress in an industry recognised technology company
