well-established engineering company based in Newport.
The successful Shipping Administrator will have experience within a similar export administration role in a related industry such as manufacturing/ engineering. You will be organised, have strong administration skills and be able to multi-task. You will have excellent communication skills, be confident to communicate over the telephone with customers and suppliers and team working is essential within this business, so ability to build
relationships is very important.
Salary of up to £11.50 per hour based on experience.
Hours are Monday to Friday - 4 hours per day of your choice between 8am and 5pm.
Will finish on Friday at 1pm regardless so option to start earlier is available.

Arranging product shipping to order specification and terms
Import / Export documentation preparation and issue ensuring compliance with business processes and HMRC requirements
Import / Export documentation procedure and practise, including free issue parts
Working with letters of credit, cash against documentation and bills of exchange bank guarantees
Customer notification of shipping / export documentation
MFW system despatch & Invoicing
Ensure accurate closing of sales orders - HMRC requirements
Liaison with coordinators and business managers for invoicing clearance
Preparation and sending of courier shipments (DHL / Federal Express)
Customer service communication
Internal expediting against order milestones
General departmental administrationEssential Skills:
Shipping/ Export administration experience
Excellent administration skills, string use of Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Able to build rapport quickly over the telephone
Accurate inputting of data, strong attention to detail
Dealing with customer orders and deliveries, ensuring smooth delivery
Keeping customers informed of any delays and changes to schedules
