We have a great position available for a Domiciliary Care Coordinator based in Liverpool within a superb independent care agency who operate within and across the North West, providing care to service users in their own homes on a one-to-one basis.

About the company
Our client’s home care services are designed for the elderly person who is physically frail or housebound and also provide care for individuals with learning difficulties, mental illness, onset Dementia, Brain Injury and much more. All services are undertaken by their team of highly trained and experienced specialist staff. They provide home care services to both the private and public sectors.

About the role
As a Care Coordinator you will join a team of 5 other managers and co-ordinators who will support and guide you along the way as well as admin and other team members and you will:

Have a team to support and manage to achieve their goals
Be their support system encouraging them to work to their full ability
About the responsibilities
In the role of Care Coordinator your duties will include:

Supporting individuals to remain in their own home in their local community
Communicating with your team to complete rotas
Building relationships with the staff team and completing regular supervisions and appraisals
Building relationships with your service users and completing reviews and audits
Maintaining personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job
Participating in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training
Working well within a team and happy to learn new skills
About you
To be successful for the role of Care Coordinator, you must have / be:

Excellent administrative experience
Strong planning and organisational skills
Sound understanding of good care principles
Ability to cope under pressure
Even-tempered and patient
Able to cope with change
Able display empathy and warmth
Good IT ability 
About the hours  
As Care Coordinator the hours of work are:

Emergency on call - It's essential that all managers and coordinators take part in the company’s emergency out of hours on call service, which runs from 5pm to 8am the next day.

Weekend on call will start Friday 5pm to Monday 9am and you will be required to do 1 per month which is shared with another member of the team.

You will also be required to take part in some on-call on one of the following days:

Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and any other bank holidays.

A salary of £25,000 per annum
