The Management Accountant ensures that our operational and finance teams are given high quality information and support. The also assist in the preparation and review of information which supports charity decision making and enables our people to live the best life possible.
Day to Day
Reporting to the Management Accountant Manager, you'll be:
Assisting in the preparation and review of the management accounts
Preparing and reviewing the annual budget, forecasts, and management information
Investigating variances, and monitoring KPIs
Monitoring, controlling, and reporting on non-staff costs across the charity
supporting continuous improvement including the assisting with the development and production of more meaningful and simple dashboard reporting
Working closely with the Regional Finance Business Partners, providing cover and support when required and working with regional stakeholders in financial matters

Skills and Experience
You'll be working towards or already qualified to ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
You'll be experience using Microsoft Excel - particularly in the manipulation of large data sets, pivots, and formulae.
You'll have brilliant experience working in a finance department and with an ERP

What is The Deal for you?
Flexibility! You can work your full time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. You need to be available to work from our office in Widnes when required and there will be occasional UK travel required, but otherwise you can work from home or a flex between the two.
Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
