Goods In – Team Leader
Location: Leicester
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.15pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Overtime Available – time and a half after 38 hrs

Our client based in Leicester, require an experienced Goods In / Dispatch Team Leader working in a busy electrical component manufacturer.

This is a warm, modern, clean facility and potentially a long-term role with progression opportunities. Overtime and progression available.

The Candidate:

* FLT Licence

* Experience in a similar role

* Exposure to 6S reporting (DESIRABLE)

* Ability to use MS Office packages

* Strong attention to detail

* Man management experience

* Good eye for detail

* Ideally looking for a longer-term position

* Ability to work under pressure and to timescales

* Competency with EFACS ERP (DESIRABLE)

The Role:

* Lead the goods in/dispatch team

* Manage output and performance

* Line management

* Submit weekly 6s reports

* Assist with stocktake

* Load and unload vehicles in line with H&S procedures

* Ensure working areas are always clean and tidy

* Manage and track goods receipt procedures

* Ensure Goods inwards Inspection process is followed

* Report any shortages daily

* Ensure weekly picks are dealt with in a timely manner

* Day shifts Monday to Friday

* Ideally, you will have experience in a similar Teal Leader Warehouse type role

* Overtime available at premium rates

* Immediate start available

* Temporary to Permanent
