CMA Recruitment Group are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant for their well-established Basingstoke client. This position is initially on a fixed term contract until August, with the potential to become permanent.

What will the role involve?
Supporting the administration of accounts, weekly user reports, preparing schedules and journals for month end and year end reporting.
Assist with the preparation of daily, monthly and annual financial and reporting requirements related to products, adhering to Regulatory requirements for all collections and payments, constantly seeking improvements and efficiencies.
Assisting with the completion of daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations.
Assisting with Ad hoc payments, accounts payable and mortgage payments and banking cheques.
MS Office including Intermediate Excel (use of formulae, lookups, sumifs and pivot tables)
Good planning and organisational skills.
Good standard maths and the ability to problem solve;
Excellent communicator, able to work across teams.
Ability to manage own time efficiently.
AAT Level 2 desirable but not essential.
