Qualified Tutor/ Assessor
Eagles Consultancy Ltd are a (FE) Training provider - Offices based in Sutton Coldfield Birmingham. We are currently looking for a qualified Tutor/ Assessor to join our team. The delivery and service we offer covers an Adult Education Budget, part of WMCA remit and ESFA contract. Age range 19+ years.
Duties and responsibilites:
* To implement and administer all assessment and quality assurance procedures as directed by the Awarding Organisations, across early years specialist sectors.
* To support, teach and guide learners with the classroom, develop their personal and professional attitudes, skills and abilities with responsibility to ensure successful completion of all endorsed qualifications.
* To guide and support learners to gain the required appropriate evidence for their Competency Based Qualifications
* To assess learners and provide feedback demonstrating a clear understanding of minimum requirements for competence to a high standard, using audio and video technology.
* To liaise and share good practice with peer Assessors, Internal Quality Advisors, Operations Manager, Company Director
* To attend regular Progress and Standardisation meetings.
* To lead when required the development, planning and delivery of all courses programme.
* To abide by and implement contract rules and regulations in line with the course endorsed programmes.
* To be able to deliver on line provision via Microsoft Teams for on line learners.
* To implement and be responsible for CPD requirements
Qualified Tutor/Assessor Requirements:
* To hold a relevant Level 4 minimum Teaching qualification, equivalent to CCTLS and or DTLLS.
* Assessors Award D32/33 - A1, D34 Internal Verifier qualification would be an advantage.
* Knowledge and experience of teaching functional skills in Maths & English desirable but not essential.
* A full UK driving licence and your own car is essential for the role.
* Ideal to have a knowledge of Microsoft Teams. Full training will be given to the successful Candidate across this area.
* Candidate needs to be focused, organised, excellent time keeping.
* Ability to keep and meet deadlines. Have a passion for Teaching & Education.
* To be a crucial part of the team and to understand that responsibility. To be trustworthy and the ability to manage their own work schedule and diary on a daily and weekly basis.
